Unveiling The Maquette at Apsley House
Arthur Charles Valerian Wellesley, 9th Duke of Wellington, welcomed a host of guests to his Apsley House residence on Tuesday 6th March, 2018, in aid of the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment Memorial Appeal.
The private drinks reception, held at Number 1, London provided an exclusive unveiling of the memorial Marquette, created in honour of the Duke of Wellington’s Regiments 300 years of service to the Crown.
The cost of the memorial would be £240,000, which was to be raised through public donations and ticket entry events.
