Michael Whelan

Michael K Whelan died peacefully on the 24^th of January, 2019.
Michael had trained at the Halifax Depot, in the fifties, and joined the 1^st Bn in Gibraltar, following the Korean War.

He was, for some time, the Chairman of the Halifax Branch of the Association, until a stroke forced him to step down.
Michael’s funeral was held on the 19th of February at Parkwood Crematorium at 10:30hrs, followed by a reception at Casa Brighouse.
